Baby is fashionably late :-)

Hi all!
Just thought I would send an update!  Baby is still doing well in the womb!  Yes we are over 40 weeks by a bit...but our baby girl can't quite see her calendar yet.  She is teaching her mommy and daddy patience and who is in charge!  We are ready & hope to be cuddling her soon!!!

April Showers!

April was a very busy & exciting month for us! (Yes I realize it is June 3rd!...so I am a bit behind! I told myself I would catch up before baby is here!)

April is always exciting and busy with so many family birthdays, including Jim's and then mine!  April we also had 3 baby showers for this little one!  April 14th, my awesome college friends Katie, Monica & Chris hosted a shower for us, April 15th, Jim's mom & aunt hosted a shower for us, and April 21st my mom, sister in law, and cousin hosted a shower! 

We are so grateful for these events and we both had a great time at each one! This baby girl is so loved! Here are some pictures.......

March Maddness!!!

March was definitely a VERY busy month for us!

I started off by going to a "Baby wearing workshop" to learn more about the different carriers and how to use them. We then took two long weekend trips, back to back! First trip was to Kiawah Island South Carolina & the second was to West Palm Beach Florida. We went to South Carolina with friends Chris & Abby and we visited our friends Mary & Paul in Florida. Fun times! We also had another ultrasound done at 28 weeks and got to see our little one. It was VERY cool! I will attach pictures. I also did the 1 hour Glucose test & passed! The last event we had this month was a professional Maternity Photo Shoot! It was very fun. I can't believe we only have two months left until I am 40 weeks! Time is flying by & love getting ready for her!!!!

A Texas Suprise!

Hi all! I am getting caught up on my blogging :-)

The last weekend of February my mom and I took a long weekend trip to Texas to visit her family! It was a great time. First time baby (in utero) went flying! We got in on a Friday and that evening we were talking about our plans for the next day. My Grandpa wanted me to be ready at 10:00 a.m. and he was using me for a "photo" shoot. Okay! I went along with it. Well when I got back it was to my SURPRISE that they put together a baby shower for me with some of my Grandma's closest friends! I had no idea!! It was so thoughtful & sweet! What a great weekend that was, feeling very blessed! Thank you so much again!!!!

25 weeks & enjoying it all!!!

Hi Family and Friends!
I know I have been a slacker lately and haven't posted in awhile! Needless to say, we have been keeping very busy getting ready for this little one! Fun stuff! Working on the nursery, some other house projects, picking out baby items, traveling, and loving feeling her move around every day! We are now 25 weeks along!

Here are some pictures from a Valentine's getaway weekend we took to Lake Geneva. We relaxed at the spa all day & had some good dinners!

Gender Reveal Party!!! It's a .............!!!!

Friday January 20th, 2012 was a VERY exciting day!!! We got an envelope at our Level II ultrasound appointment on Wednesday with the gender of our baby. We anxiously took the envelope to Macy's (withOUT looking at it!!!!) and picked out a boy outfit and a girl outfit. I then gave the envelope, outfits, and my credit card to the cashier. I told her to open the envelope and see what it said, purchase the appropriate outfit, and put everything in a box with A LOT of tape!!!! She was so excited about it! I then walked around the store for a bit and came back for my box!! On Friday we had over family & even had a video-call with out of state family to share with us opening the box!
